This policy allows us to work with our medical community, including licensed mental health providers who care for our students, thus respecting a student's outside treatment needs while maximizing student instructional time.
2022-23 Food Service Update
The federal government allowed schools to offer free meals to all students during the pandemic, but Congress did not extend this benefit for next school year. Families that are eligible for free or reduced-price meals must apply to receive them, and all other students must pay full price for their meals. La Grange Elementary School and Oldham County Preschool qualify the Community Eligibility Program. The students at these schools may receive one breakfast and one lunch at no cost to them.
It is important for all families to complete the Free and Reduced-Price Meal Application that is now open https://www.oldham.kyschools.us/Content2/free-reduced-price-school-meals-information The information collected from the application contributes to funding for other district programs and to help families qualify for fee waivers along with college and testing fee discounts.
