These Semifinalists are among the highest scorers on the 2019 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. Approximately one-third of the 50,000 high scorers, are notified that they have qualified as Semifinalists. To be considered for a National Merit Scholarship, semifinalists must advance to finalist standing in the competition by meeting high academic standards and as well as other requirements including leadership, service, and community involvement.

“Over 21,000 high schools across the nation entered the 2021 competition and we are proud that all three of our high schools are represented in the semifinalist round,” said Superintendent Greg Schultz, “It is a tremendous accomplishment.”

National Merit Finalists will be announced in the spring.
