Offline Learning Days & Choice Boards

Offline Learning Days are days when students are working at home without the support of their grade level teacher.

  • No ScheduleActivities are asynchronous
  • No specific schedule or class meeting times

Preschool - Grade 5:

  • bookChoice Boards - 4 days of common offline assignments for students to complete
  • Students complete a minimum of 4 learning activities on the Offline Learning Day Choice Boards.

Grades 6 - 12:

  • computerContinue to follow AB Schedule.
  • On an Offline Learning Day, students in both the A and B groups will be completing asynchronous work at home without the support of their teachers. 

Possible Offline Learning Day scenarios include inclement weather, power outages or staffing issuesNo Electricity, No Internet and Staff outage due to Scheduled Vaccinations

Choice BoardsChoice BoardsOffline Learning Choice Boards provide “at home” work for Preschool - Grade 5 students and count as a day of school. 

  • Students complete a minimum of 4 learning activities on the Offline Learning Day Choice Boards.
  • Students choose one activity in each of the four rows.
  • Parents:
    • On Choice Board (top right), enter student name, sign and return to teachers
    • OR email teacher at home work choices completed
