2010-11 Pegasus Sports Network
High School Sports Broadcast Schedule

The Pegasus Sports Network (“PSN”) has announced its broadcast schedule for the 2010-11 high school basketball season.  PSN is pleased to announce that it will broadcast more regular season games than ever before, along with each and every game of the boys’ and girls’ 29th District and 8th Region basketball tournaments.  All broadcasts are free to anyone with an internet connection, and can also be heard as archives.

This year’s broadcast season begins on Saturday, November 27th, at 6 pm with the Pegasus Sports / Baptist Hospital Northeast preseason show.

Among this year’s featured games are matchups with traditional powers Shelby County, Lexington Catholic, Anderson County, Jeffersontown, Eastern, and Trinity, as well as games against 8th Region contenders Owen County, Gallatin County, Simon Kenton, and Collins.  All games between Oldham County schools will be covered, as well as all four games in the December 11th Ronald McDonald House Classic at Oldham County High School.

Nearly every game will be broadcast live, but those who miss the live broadcast will still be able to listen to the games as archives, for several months after the game.  Three broadcasts of road games at Owen County will likely be aired on a delayed basis, and will be available to hear beginning the next day as an archive.  Note that archived broadcasts can be heard at the listener’s discretion at any time.

Mike Montgomery, a 1980 graduate of Oldham County High School and the longtime voice of Colonel, Dragon, and Mustang sports, will again serve Pegasus’ chief announcer and will provide most of the play-by-play calls.  Tom Hawkins, a veteran high school coach and official, will continue to serve as PSN’s primary color commentator.  With PSN’s expanded regular season coverage, Pegasus is proud to introduce two new play-by-play announcers.  Roger Frantz will serve as the primary play-by-play voice of the South Oldham Dragons, and Scott Jaggers will become the primary play-by-play voice of the North Oldham Mustangs.

To listen to the games, listeners should go to www.pegasussportsky.com and click on one of the school logos.  From there, simply click on the game listing you wish to hear under either the “Upcoming / Live Broadcasts” or the “Archived Broadcasts” section.  All live broadcasts are available to hear as archives minutes after the conclusion of the game.  All games begin with a 30-minute pre-game unless otherwise noted.

All broadcast times are subject to change; check online at www.pegasussportsky.com and click on one of the school logos for scheduling updates.
