The staff, parents and students of Camden Station Elementary work together to create a warm and caring environment that affords each child the opportunity to develop academically, socially, and emotionally. Our curriculum frameworks are aligned to assist us in meeting the needs of our primary and intermediate students. All students at Camden Station participate in a related arts schedule that offers Physical Education, Music and Art. Students at Camden Station benefit from a school counseling program that addresses personal/social, academic, and career domains. Our building also houses one Functionally Mentally Disabled classroom equipped with one certified ECE/FMD teacher and two aides. Teachers and students utilize technology daily through Intelligent Classroom systems, which are installed in every classroom.

Technology Information:  All classrooms are equipped with Dell Intelligent systems and have access to integrated software programs, Internet, e-mail, and a variety of educational software packages. Each classroom has at least two networked computers, at least one of which has a stand-alone CD-ROM drive. The Library Media Center is fully automated for circulation, inventory, and catalog. Content related software is also available for checkout to the classrooms. Additional technology available through the Library Media Center includes laserdiscs, scanner, digital cameras, projection devices, two Ibid Whiteboards, video editing software and cameras, and video input/digitizing software. The school and Library Media Center feature a full range of research and instructional tools that meet state and national standards. The Library Media Specialist/School Technology Coordinator helps coordinate technology use within the school.
