Kenwood Station Elementary fourth graders Olivia and Sophia Barondeau are bringing new life to old clothes, and it’s all for a good cause. The twins have started making pillows for shelter animals and cancer patients, using pajama pants. They call their venture "S.O. Sew for Good."

They've made about 50-60 pillows thus far, using their own outgrown pants and a few donations from friends, and they bought several pair from Goodwill. As they grow, they are hoping donations from their peers at Kenwood Station will keep their charitable business going.

The first 20 pillows were donated to the Oldham Humane Society. They are also planning a delivery to the James Graham Brown Cancer Center soon.
