Summer Reading!

Summer Reading Programs

  • Camden’s Summer Reading Program: Camden Station will be hosting its second annual Reading Celebration on Friday, August 16th, and it will be an event that you won’t want to miss! We will be having George Ella Lyon, a published author, come to Camden to speak with students about the importance of reading and about her writing life! All you have to do to attend the Reading Celebration is to read your text of choice and fill in a star for every 30 minutes that you read on our summer reading log, for a total of 10 hours over the summer! Return this paper to school the first week we return in August.

  • Barnes and Noble Summer Reading Imagination’s Destination: Read any 8 books and record them on the BN Reading Journal. Bring the completed journal to your local Barnes and Noble to receive a FREE BOOK! http://www.bn.com/summerreading
