• The parent representative election for Camden's SBDM Council will take place on April 25, 2012 at the school. Voting times are 7:30 am - 8:30 am, 11:30 am - 12:30 pm, and 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm. Those wishing to vote will need to sign in with a photo ID and must be a parent, stepparent, foster parent or legal guardian of a student attending Camden Station during the 2012-2013 school year. The four parents running for election are Katie Graves, Gabriela Keemer, Marci Rhyne and Melissa Woosley. Their resumes are attached.
• The assessment window is just around the corner for our 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students. Please see the attachment for more information about the upcoming testing window.

• Camden Station Beautification: A Success! A big thank you to all the students and parents who helped out at Camden's Beautification last Saturday. Thanks also to Mrs. Joella Brown for coordinating the beautification event! We had a great turnout and the school grounds look wonderful as a result!
• The K’s and 1st graders have been hard at work preparing their Spring Musical for you to see!

Your child will need to wear the following clothes on the days of the show:
Bebelaar: Dress like a farmer (overalls if you have them!) with a farmer’s hat
Sanders: Green, brown or white shirt with no design and jeans
Tackett: Brown, red or yellow shirt with no design and jeans
Mintman: Yellow, green or brown shirt with no design and jeans
Arthur: Red, brown or green shirt with no design and jeans
Dziedzic: Orange, green or brown shirt with no design and jeans
• You are invited to attend the Camden Station Elementary Student Art Show! Our eagles are entering works that they made at home or in art this year. The show will be held on May 1st directly following the Kindergarten/1st grade musical "How Does Your Garden Groove?" Keep an eye out for an invitation in the Take-Home-Tuesday Folder!
• Looking for a place for your child to go this summer? Then look no further! Eagles Nest has a great summer program! You can pick up a packet in the front office or at Eagles Nest. If you should have any questions, please call Pat Maurer at 502-241-3411.
Fall Packets are ready to be picked up for your child to be enrolled at Eagles Nest as well.
Additionally, you may pick up forms for Summer Camps in the front office or at Eagles Nest.
For Summer Camps, you do not have to enroll in Eagles Nest to participate.

• Attention Parents of Kindergarten Students for the 2012-13 School Year: Kindergarten Konversations will be May 14, 2012 at 6:30 PM. It is important that both you and your incoming Kindergarten student attend this event. Kindergarten Take Flight will be August 10, 2012 from 8:30 - 11:00. There will be more information on this event sent home this summer.
• Save The Date! The 5th Grade Promotion Ceremony will take place on May 16, 2012 at 6:00 PM.
• Parent Night for current 5th graders at South Oldham Middle School will take place on Tuesday, April 24th from 6:30 – 7:30 in the school gym.
• South Oldham Middle School cheer tryouts will be April 25, 26, and 27th 3:45 to 5:30 PM. Anyone trying out must have a KHSAA sports physical and sports packet. Packets can be picked up in the office at SOMS or on the SOMS Athletic website.
