Last Day for Library Checkout: Please make a note that the last day for library checkout will be on Thursday, May 5th due to our upcoming testing window. All library books should be turned in by Friday, May 13th!
KCCT & IOWA Testing Dates: 3rd-5th grade students will be taking the KCCT Test from May 9-20 and ITBS Test from May 23-27. While daily punctual attendance is always expected, it is essential on these dates in particular. See the enclosed attachment for more information.
Café News: Last date for meal charges is May 13th, 2011. Please have your child’s account in good standing before the end of the school year. If you have any questions concerning your child’s account, please contact the school cafeteria manager, Ms. Vickey Lisenby. Thank you!
School Kidz Supply List: The Schoolkidz Supply Kit Order Forms went home last Tuesday. Don't miss out on the opportunity to order supplies early. Deadline is Friday, May 13th. SEPTA meeting May 24th @ LaGrange Elementary Media Center
Moving from the structured school setting to summer vacation can be difficult for many families. Join us as we learn more about ESY (Extended School Year services) and summer bridge activities. Kathy Alsup, Family Liaison for Oldham County Seven Counties Services, Inc., will be handing out ‘Goody Bags’ to all Parent Attendees full of materials and advice on how to spend special bonding time with your child during the Summer Break and giving ideas on summer activities. Joining her to provide even more ideas will be Karen Riggs, Oldham County ECS department. There will be a general meeting and SEPTA will present awards! Refreshments will be provided by Seven Counties Services and SEPTA.
The PTA Executive Board is pleased to announce the new Executive Board for 2011 - 2012 school year. The following were voted to the board on Tuesday, April 26th: Angela Klehr - President, Melissa Roadcap - VP of Funding, Julie Pate - Secretary, and Michelle Clark - Treasurer. Marci Rhyne has volunteered to be VP of Activities. She will be voted in at the next PTA Executive Board Meeting on Monday, May 9th at 8:15am. The new board will start in June.
